First up is the inaugural of the Ubud Food Festival celebrating the richness and diversity of Indonesian culture from 05-07 June. Organised by the same folks as Ubud writers festival this promises to be the foodie event on Bali this year. If you are on Bali Saturday 13 June be sure to go to the opening day parade in Denpasar - this magnificent display of Balinese pageantry is a "must see".
